California Paid Sick Leave 2024 Poster. On october 4, 2023, california’s governor signed senate bill (sb) 616, which increases the amount of paid sick leave employers are required to provide to california employees. California’s new paid sick leave lawwent into full effect as of january 1, 2024.

Employees must accrue at least 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked. Out with the old, and ring in the new!
